Our predictions

March - arguably the best month of the year. Here's what Jesus and I think will happen this weekend and beyond:

Women:

The women's bracket is pretty cut and dry - nothing surprising.

Both Vermont and Hartford will get into the NCAA tournament regardless of who takes the AEC title.

Men:

Jesus:

Hot Dog:

In other news, women's lacrosse gets their season at home started today at 4. If not for Maritime Asian history I would be enjoying that game right there next to YOU.

Why would you think that Phoney Brook who played nobody all year would beat an experienced Terrier team on a neutral court?

BU was a 2.5 point favorite in Las Vegas over Stony Brook. You are clueless and don't know how good your own team really is.

hmm, here were/are my thoughts about the pick:

-who held the reg. season series?
-vegas picked the patriots to win super bowl XLII
-you need to watch about 3 games to understand the Jekyll and Hyde nature of this team, so clearly you just got here
-experience, eh? john holland, our leading scorer, has a career 12.4 ppg in AEC tournament games (with a rather impressive 38% shooting from the field). interesting decision to keep that experience card in your pocket while corey has 6 straight games with single digits, i wonder why. theyve never shown any signs of clutch success, unless it's when dennis wolff already signaled for a timeout.

Stoney Brook did. But if you know anything about hoops, it is very difficult to beat the same team 3 times in a year. Advantage BU

Vegas is right more than they are wrong. How many people beat vegas? They had BU as the favorite. They were right.

experience, eh?

Yup, Stony Brook choked. Tommy Brenton was 3-9 from the foul line. Stony Brook shot less than 50% from the foul line as a team.

theyve never shown any signs of clutch success

They never had a decent coach before.

SBU, UVM, BU all swept their first round opponents and went on to win their first round games. Arguing that it is more or less difficult to beat a team a third time is absurd.

A game is a game is a game. When it's one and done nothing that happened in the past matters at all.
